The fundamental essence of the cosmos is consciousness rather than matter. While many have understood this from spiritual and metaphysical perspectives; Peter Russell approaches this conclusion from the revelations of modern science. With consciousness as primary, many of the paradoxes of relativity and quantum theory disappear; light takes on a special significance, bridging the realms of mind and matter; and science and spirituality are no longer in conflict. The key question is no longer how consciousness arises from matter, but how does the experience of matter arise in consciousness? This is the question that many mystics and spiritual adepts have explored. Join Peter as he leads participants through a journey of inner exploration, addressing questions such as: What is consciousness? What is reality? And what do we really mean by “I”?
Peter Russell is recognized as one of the leading thinkers on consciousness and contemporary spirituality. He is the author of ten books including The Global Brain, Waking up in Time, and From Science to God.
