Mesoamerican Ancient Knowledge

All lectures require a Day Pass to attend.

Different schools of knowledge come to us from the “old world” developed over the course of thousands of years. Here in America there were many ancient schools of knowledge that were cut short 400 years ago, supplanted by “old world” schools. One of these indigenous schools was stored in paper books called “codices” by the Spanish. A few surviving copies show an ancient and developed tradition of pictographic information unparalleled by any other culture in the world. In studying these codices, much knowledge can be re-learned and reborn. Imagine a future that reincorporates indigenous knowledge into modern society. What new insights could we bring?
