The Sunday Workshop

3 - 4:30 pm Carmel Ballroom

Then, on Sunday afternoon, Susan will discuss how the courtship has changed radically over the past several years. With Facebook, Twitter, Match.com, texting, IM, video conferencing and the proliferation of smart cell phones, finding love and staying in love was touted as easier than ever to do, but for some the process has become more complicated and less intimate. New technology has made knowing your partner's whereabouts and true character harder to decipher, leading some to suffer heartbreak. What's a girl or guy to do? And just as you were getting a handle on love, drug companies have again created a shift in sexual behavior. Another major question to be covered will be, does love happen to us, or do our attitudes, moral character and expectations unconsciously influence the final outcome of our most relationships before they even begin?

Clearly, the influence of Uranus in Aquarius on society from 1995 to 2003 was massive, and Neptune's tour of Aquarius from 1998 to this day has caused huge social changes too. Aquarius rules all things new, including all scientific innovation, from new technology to biological discoveries. We've been living in an age that's been strongly colored by Aquarius. Astrology can help us stop unproductive proclivities and attitudes that stand in the way of love, and Susan will study those.

The Monday Post-Conference Seminar

Monday, February 15, 7 - 10 pm

Love in the Year Ahead 2010

On Monday evening--a three-hour workshop with plenty time for audience questions, Susan Miller will discuss the Year Ahead 2010 to pinpoint the areas of each sign's greatest happiness and luck. Which signs will have the best outlook for love? Which signs will be challenged by relationships? How will the coming eclipses in Cancer, Capricorn, and Gemini affect your social life? Which signs will learn the most about themselves and their partners? How can you enlarge a good trend and avoid problems in a tough one? What about friends and family--will they help in the process of love, or hinder it? Susan Miller will explore some of the specifics that might have frustrated you. What if your partner has to work or travel a great deal and you can’t be together? What to do if your marriage timetable differs from that of your partner—such as if your partner is ready to wed but you are not, or vice versa---do you stay or leave? What if your emotional needs are not being met, or that your lifestyles are incompatible in certain ways (but not all), such as one of you wants to live in the city, the other in the suburbs? You may have differing approaches to handling money, or have diverse attitudes about religion, spirituality mand ethics. What then?
